Cebu "Queen City of the South"


Often called the "Queen City of the South" and the seat of Christianity in the Philippines, Cebu is the Country's oldest city.Exploring Cebu City, on encounters a rich historical past which the Cebuanos are extremely proud of. It is a legacy, which endured thru thecenturies from the time of the great explorer Ferdinand Magellan, first planted the cross on Cebu's shore.

Boracay: The World’s Most Popular Beach of 2007


Yahoo! Travel just announced The World’s Most Popular Beaches of 2007, Topping the list is our very own Boracay Island in Aklan and on the number three (3) spot is Cebu also in the island of Visayas. Heres the complete list of Yahoo! Travel Most Popular Beaches of 2007:

The world-famous island of Boracay is located in Aklan province 345 kms. South of Manila. The island is accessible by air from Manila or Cebu through two principal gateways: Caticlan airport or Kalibo airport.

Boracay has also been voted as one of the best beaches in the world by the BMW Tropical Beach Handbook. The British Publication TV Quick in its issue of December 21, 1996 gave the latest accolade for Boracay as the number one tropical beach in the world.

San Juan, La Union



Located about eight km north of San Fernando City, near the quiet, small town of San Juan. It's pristine waters attracts foreign anglers because of bountiful catches of sword fish and tuna from the sea. The long, clean and wide beach that stretches along the coast, have good surfing conditions thus earning it's name: Surf Beach.

San Juan Beach is known for its consistent intermediate quality surf, it is blessed with two seasons from July to October and November to March and is one of the most popular surfing destinations in the Philippines. It is considered as the surfing capital of the Northern Philippines.
